Can't Let Go is now on my top 5 list for most depressing books EVER. I'm keeping this short because, honestly, there's no way to write a thorough review without giving away some fairly massive spoilers. I will say that pretty much right from the beginning the overwhelming sadness sucked me in and didn't let go. It's a well written story, just very morose. There wasn't a true moment of levity without anything tragic hanging around until about the 95% mark.I'm a sucker for second chance relationship stories but this one was depressing on top of gloomy with seemingly no light at the end of the tunnel. I'd recommend being in the right frame of mind before starting this

All I can say is this book is full of different emotions. Like others, I cried several times throughout this book like the characters you find yourself choked up too. If you are not into emotional books this is not for you if you are than this is right up your alley. I enjoyed everything, the characters, setting and the writing.
I'm reading all Brewer books now and enjoying them a great deal. They always include bright women that are working hard and yet find a wonderful man that is willing to help them and yet appreciate their abilities. Brewer also includes enough sex to make it an even more enjoyable read, but not the only reason to read!
Really good story. Lot's of sadness, sorrow, loss, and regrets, so well the read. Decisions are hard to make, being a people pleaser so easy to do. But when it comes to your life do concede or fight?
I could not put this book down. I was in it till the end...A must read...great book...
Abby was ready for all of it, but Logan felt he was not worthy enough for her. He made the only decision he thought was right. He left! The loss of their friend brings them back together and the emotions, will they fight it or let go and feel again?? You must read to find out!! ;)
I honestly don't get all these positive reviews. I thought this book sucked and was completely unrealistic. Parents disowning their children for marrying someone poorer? And anyone caring one way or another? Is this the Middle Ages? Again, if this was set in a different era I could understand it but we're made to believe that it's a contemporary romance. Also, ending was bizarre . . . the dad smiling when his knocked-up daugher is about to bolt from her wedding to a man that is not the father? And this is the same guy who was going to disown her for marrying outside her class. Sorry, not for me.
3.5 This was pretty good.The writing style was pretty good too. But this was pretty predictable and really sad. I felt myself choke up a couple of times. But by the time the ending came I was relieved it was over. That these two finally got their act together. It was exhausting.
Wow! I think I cried for most of this book! I can't begin to describe the range of emotions his book evoked for me. I wasn't just terry eyed, I was ugly crying to the point I had to take minutes to compose myself in order to keep reading. Abby and Logan's story was one of the most heartbreaking ones I've read since reading in a long time. I highly recommend this book with a warning that you have to have the time to really cry!
